Remediation Process
Standard Mold Remediation has 3 Phases:
The Mold Assessment is the initial inspection, sampling, and analysis of the location
complete in an assessment report, created by a Licensed Mold Assessment Consultant
(MAC) in the State of Texas. This is the first step and documents the presence of growth with specific detail.
The Mold Protocol is the creation of a work plan for a Licensed Mold Remediation
Contractor (MRC) to perform – AFTER – the assessment results are interpreted, created
by a Licensed Mold Consultant (MAC) in the State of Texas. This serves as the guidelines or blueprints for an MRC to provide an estimate for remediation.
The Post-Remediation Verification is the final inspection, sampling, and analysis of the
location and remediation by a Licensed Mold Remediation Contractor (MRC) complete
in final findings report, created by a Licensed Mold Assessment Consultant (MAC) in
the State of Texas. This serves as an objective determination that remediation was either completed or not completed to TDLR standards.
